Helen contributes to new OUP report: How Schools are Closing the Word Gap
in Founder BlogHelen Prince our CEO recently contributed to the Oxford Language Report 2021-2022 discussing the scale of the word gap and the impact of Covid on language developments being an ongoing issue. This collection of case studies serves to remind us of the brilliant work going on in schools to make a real and impactful difference to addressing the word gap. These schools demonstrate what can be done to set their pupils up for a better and more confident future.

New vocabulary books available!
in Founder Blog, NewsWe are delighted to announce the publication of our CEO and Founder Helen Prince’s new vocabulary books! Published by Oxford University Press, the ‘Boost Your Vocabulary’ series is designed to expand students’ vocabulary and address the word gap. With carefully selected, aspirational words drawn from the Oxford Children’s Corpus, this series of three work books focuses on the vocabulary that will help students access more challenging texts and empower them to use a more sophisticated vocabulary.
